A while back, Jimmyjane published a small document called The Gentleman’s Guide to Vibrators and sent a link to all their email subscribers. It’s apparently no longer there, because the original link doesn’t work (thank you Broken Link Checker plugin), and I can’t find the guide on their website. Not that I spent all that long looking.
Of course, it was a guide to their vibes, as it was essentially a marketing tool. Frankly, my one and only experience with a “luxury” vibrator from Jimmyjane was a total and complete disappointment, so I personally wouldn’t recommend that brand as a starting point for new sex toy users. BUT, I do think they hit the proverbial nail on the head with this quote.
Studies have shown that women who use vibrators enjoy improved overall sexual function. Basically, vibrators make women more sexual. What’s not to love?
Vibrators aren’t symbols of shame that only lonely women who can’t find a man resort to using. No, just like electric kettles make boiling water easy and more efficient, vibrators effectively stimulate the clitoris, enabling–no, more like guaranteeing–a strong orgasm.
Rather than eschew or be intimidated by them, men should be glad that such power tools are now so easily accessible and accepted.
