Waterpik Easy Select Shower Head ReviewOkay, I know this isn’t specifically an “adult” product so to speak, but since feeling clean and relaxed is a key part of getting in the mood for many of us, I feel it’s applicable. Plus, it’s a hand-held shower head. Don’t pretend like you don’t know what they’re capable of in the right hands.

So, take a look what the lovely folks over at ModernMom.com sent me! Pretty cool, isn’t it? I’ve never had a hand-held shower head with various spray settings, so I jumped at the opportunity to get this one. I figure the least I could do is tell you how nifty it is.

Waterpik Easy Select Shower Head PackagingI was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to install it. I’m not inept when it comes to basic tool use, but I tend to get a bit nervous whenever pipes and water lines are involved. However, I can honestly say that taking my old shower head off was the hardest part of the installation process because it was really stuck.

But thisĀ shower head just screws on where the old one comes off, and it’s done! Getting the thing out of its plastic packaging took longer than hooking it up.

See, it’s in one of those awkward plastic containers that requires either a degree in rocket science or the jaws of life to open. But here it is all nice and cosy, making itself at home in my shower.

Waterpik Easy Select Shower HeadThere are five different spray settings. The top row of holes give you full body coverage, and there is a water saver setting in that mode. The second row of holes do the misting thing, which is ideal for washing your face and/or more delicate body parts. The center circle gives you a heavenly pulsating massage, which felt so good on my back and neck. The lower holes are a full-pressure power spray, great for really getting a good rinse.

So, how do I like it? I LOVE it! I can’t believe I’ve lived in this house for over 12 years and never thought to get one of these nifty gadgets. One of my favorite things to do is take a long, hot, steamy shower. I totally enjoyed doing that with my old boring shower head.

But now that I have all these options, I foresee my water bill going through the roof while I have fun playing with all the different spray settings. Plus, the fact that it’s hand-held means I can spray myself anywhere. Use your imagination here, folks.

Oh, I love great shower heads! Not for the extra perks *wink* *wink*, but honestly – there's nothing better for sore shoulders and back (short of a massage).

  3. I have to say I HATE the packaging that makes you feel that you need dynamite to open them. Why the hell do people package these things like this? Nice review:)
